Use cue cards
You can choose colorful pieces of paper and stick them on different objects in your house. For example, in your bedroom, your living room, or the kitchen. The more you see the words with the objects that they are labeled on, the more words you will learn and since you can see them every day, this would be a perfect review time.
Act and learn
Your brain learns much faster when you do something rather than just memorizing it. Therefore, when you want to learn a new word do not only focus on listening and reading the word try to write it, read about it and use it in a sentence and practice it in different contexts.
Learn through multimedia
Listen to your favorite English songs and check the meaning of the words that are unfamiliar and add them to your list. When watching TV, pay attention to the words and the way they are used in a sentence. While reading a magazine or newspaper, highlight the new words and expressions to look them up in the dictionary. In this way, you can make the most of multimedia and learn a lot of new terms.
Play word games
